Remember as a kid trying to measure yourself or having your parents or siblings do it for you? I sure do. That's what inspired this illustration. Well. . .that and a conversation with my next door neighbor last evening about how quickly his 4 year old is growing. Both mentally & physically. I'm sure at 4, he isn't too eager to be too big, not just yet, but kids today, I feel, are in such a hurry to grow up. They just need to slow down and live in the moment. If they just knew how quickly time goes by, they just might. And even though we aren't in a hurry to grow up, as we are already adults, but it's never too late for us to slow down!
