Take a leap

Sometimes as an artist, you just need to take a break and do something that you're not used to doing. Art-wise, that is. Being a digital artist has it's advantages. It's very easy to correct mistakes, change colors and make adjustments when needed without having to start completely over. But. . . .making mistakes, without making corrections, is sometimes part of learning process, so recently, I have started working again some with traditional mediums and although I've never worked much with watercolors, I am falling in love with them. I love the softness of the way they initially lay and then slowly building the color up. I also, love the quote as well. . . .

How about you. Do you find it difficult to try something new and get out of your comfort zone sometimes? Why do you think that is? Fear? Fear of failure? Fear of criticism? Well, I say. . . .just go for it! Even if you just do it for yourself, it's totally worth doing.

I’ve seen the new spark in your designs and appreciate being included in the process. I come back everyday to discover new ideas to help feed my friends with your designs.
