In recent weeks, I've asked my Facebook group to help me name the newest illustrations that I've been putting in the shop. And just like always, because they are totally awesome, they've come through for me. . . with some super fun names! The names capture the spirit of the illustration, the characters & pretty much tell a story in the title itself. It's so enjoyable to see how each person interrupts the illustration differently.
So. . .it got me to thinking. What else could I ask my customers for? I usually ask for suggestions as to what they would like to see, eventually, in the shop, but this time, I'm going to actually challenge myself. For the next month, through October 28th (because the first illustration will not be revealed until next Friday) I am asking my customers to give me an idea for an illustration. I will choose one out of all suggestions, sketch, outline & color it & it will be revealed the following Friday in my weekly newsletter. If your suggestion is chosen, you will receive your choice of the digital stamp or pre-colored illustration as well as a $5 gift card to also spend in the shop, just as a thank you.
How do you enter? It's simple. Just leave a comment below as to what you would like to see me illustrate. Suggestions will be taken until 9 PM (EST) each Tuesday (3 days before the reveal), so that I will have time to bring your suggestion to life. Sound like fun? I think so. I cannot WAIT to see what you suggest.
So let's hear it.....Ready. Set. Go!

Any character with some puzzle pieces to be used for Autism awareness projects
critters/characters holding or decorated with christmas ornaments.
How about a Sassy Alpaca (or Llama) that can be used for every day with a couple of words or phrases. It would be something different.

Hi miss Cheryl.. of course you know me.
… I would love to have a cute bear wearing an oversized Christmas sweater, you know, like the bears with shoes and cloths you have designed in the past…. example " Peyton the Bumbling Bear " . Also A New Angel, sitting or standing :)
Thank you my Friend!
A country church at Christmas…wreath on one of the double doors, other door open…light spilling out of open door and windows, and animals and snowman gathered around the entrance with their heads bowed in prayer
“All of nature worships God’s creations”
I would love a nativity type scene – with the manger and just a hint of the baby Jesus – maybe from the animals viewpoint/perspective – mostly manger just an outline of his feet and the top of his head, with a glow above it. Then a couple of animals on the sides, looking at the manger in awe.
Also, love Rhea’s idea of words!
I’d love to see a little boy cutting out a heart or something with safety scissors.
A red nosed baby reindeer kneeling down nose to nose with a skunk who is holding a holly sprig. Maybe a title like – Christmas never smelled so good.
I would love to see you do a SASSY Panda Bear! or a HORSE/UNICORN
Bella wearing a poinsettia collar…and the caption is Whyyyyyyyy! Lol sorry bella but I am sure you would look sooo darn cute!
I would love to have a collection of words that I can color to add to my cars digitally. Happy, Birthday, Friends, Miss, You, Love, Hi, Thank, Thanks, Give, Happy, Holidays, Merry, Christmas, New Year, Smile, hugs, In a fun font. Not to thin, Not too wide but just right.
