Cop a squat. . .

Little girl, cat and puppy reading
. . .and let me tell you a story.
Today is Library Lovers Day as well as Read to Your Child Day, so I thought I would kinda combine the two. I am LOVING this image and I cannot wait to color it up!
I remember taking Zach to the library from the time he was a baby and grabbing every book in sight that caught my eye. I don't pick up children's books at the library anymore, but I think even if I did, I would still go for the ones with the fabulous artwork. Maybe it's because I'm an artist, but there is something about a picture that tells a story that I like!
Do you remember reading to your children? Siblings? Grandchildren? What was their favorite book? And what do you think these guys are reading? It could be anything. I just hope Bella isn't reading Old Yeller. That doesn't end so well.
I'd love to hear about both!

Please please release this as a digital stamp – I love it. I am a great reader, my children are readers and so are my grandchildren. A good book means you are never lonely! I buy my grandchildren books and always choose ones with good art for them to enjoy – that is a major part of the learning to read experience and engaging with books.

I always love to read to my grandchildren. It’s our thing. When they come over they go into the hutch and grab several books for me to read to them. I even do all the voices.
