I have been seeing a lot Facebook posts recently about how many days it is until spring because of all the cold & weird weather that we've been having. It's 22 days until spring. . .just in case you weren't keeping up. (giggle). It will be here before you know it & so will Daylight Savings, which begins on March 10th. For whatever reason, I got to thinking about both of these events the other day & that's partially what inspired this little sketch.
I don't know about you, but sometimes I wish I could turn back time. Turn it back to relive a happy moment or change something in my life that I'd like a do-over on . Other times I want it to move forward. For instance. . .spring (warmer weather) or daylight savings. It's not really true, but it makes me feel like I have a longer day because there is more daylight. The thing about it is, all of us only get 24 hours in any day, it's just how God planned it & we alone get to choose how we spend it. If we move forward too quickly, we miss out on things in life that are important, meaningful. . .precious moments that we cannot get back. It's a choice. Waste the time or live those 24 hours to the fullest. I choose the later.
With that said. . .come on spring. (giggle)
